The 19th Annual Palm Springs International Short Film Festival starts reeling them in on Tuesday, June 18th through June 24th at the Camelot Theatre in Palm Springs. The long lasting Short Film Fest is in its 19th year and will showcase over 300 films from 30 plus countries in genres ranging from laugh out loud comedy, to tear jerking dramas and scare you straight horror flicks.
A unique aspect of the PS Short Film Fest is their addition of the Short Film Market, which allows over 3,000 film from their library to be available to film buyers and is the only one of its kind in North America.
The Tuesday night kickoff offers up laughs with the opening film, "Laughing Matters" at 6:30pm. The film is followed up with a reception filled with schmoozing and potential boozing at the downtown Palm Springs hotspot, Lulus California Bistro on Palm Canyon.
